Modular course
TRAINING PLAN
The aim of the modular course for the IR (A) course is to train pilots to the level of proficiency necessary to operate airplanes under IFR and in IMC in accordance with PART-FCL.600.
Candidates for the instrument rating (IR) must:
1 Acheive at least a Private Pilot Licence (PPL) for the appropriate category of aircraft; i: right on night flying
in accordance with FCL.810; or
2 professional pilot license (CPL) for the appropriate category of aircraft;
3.Acheive at least 50 hours en route flying as PIC on airplanes, of which at least 10 hours to the appropriate category of aircraft
4.Hold valid Class 1 medical certificate
5 Be at least 18 years of age
6.At least completed high school.
The training program
Candidates for the instrument rating (IR) are required to complete an approved training center (ATO).
1 Theoretical study
2 training on the ground
3 training in the air.
Number of hours of theoretical training is a 160 (teaching hour is 60 minutes). Examination in the subjects of lectures are conducted after completion of each of the theoretical subjects. Student may begin training in the air after the completion of 65% of lectures and can fly autonomously to the completion of theoretical exams.
Complete training for the profession of IR (A) / SE is 4 months depending on of meteorological factors, time of year, regular and engaging candidates during training wich can affect total duration of the training.
Course is according with EASA regulations, licences are in PART.FCL.
